All over the world, people choose to vape hemp flowers since they have discovered it to be  one of the most effective ways to get CBD into your body. Learn which medical conditions CBD are treated with CBD and why you should try to vape hemp flowers, as your preferred delivery system.

As scientists continue unraveling the mysteries of cannabis, more and more emphasis is now on cannabidiol, or CBD. Although CBD is but one of more than 100 cannabinoids found in cannabis plants, research shows it has enormous medicinal value. Unlike tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, however, CBD is non-psychoactive and cannot make you ‘high’ and has no side effects.

Hemp Contains Abundant CBD

Because of its many known medical applications, with new evidence emerging almost daily, more people than ever before are consuming CBD. Since legal industrial hemp contains less than .03 percent THC and has extremely high levels of CBD, it is the perfect derivative for making CBD products. Furthermore, cannabis breeders are now growing CBD-rich hemp strains specifically for this purpose.

Anyone concerned about the mind-altering effects of THC can vape hemp flowers to get all the medical benefits that cannabidiol has to offer, just without the “high” associated with THC-rich cannabis strains. High in CBD and free of THC, hemp buds are improving the quality of life for patients everywhere, providing relief for people suffering from an array of mild to chronic, even terminal, health conditions.

Reasons to Vape Hemp Flowers

Although concentrated CBD products are growing in popularity, more and more users now prefer to vape hemp flowers. Learn why. When consumed via the lungs, effects are almost immediate. In contrast, since other consumption methods must go through the digestive process first, effects can take as long as two hours to feel. When you need pain relief, for example, then you likely need it right now.

Vaping hemp flowers has become a healthier alternative to smoking, since you do not actually burn the buds or the oils. You only heat them enough to create vapor, which you then inhale directly. When you ignite hemp flowers, the smoke can contain harmful toxins and carcinogens. Vapors, on the other hand, do not contain these dangerous chemicals, making them much safer and just as effective.

By vaping hemp flowers, you get all of the medical benefits of CBD. These include:

Analgesic Properties

One of the most famous health benefits of CBD is its significant ability to relieve even the most severe pain. CBD interacts with the body’s own endocannabinoid system to lower inflammation and eliminate pain. Since inflammation is the cause of most discomfort, targeting the underlying inflammation deals with the issue at its source.

One such study, published in the Journal of Experimental Medicine, showed CBD targeting a3 glycine receptors to suppress inflammation and neuropathic pain in rodents. However, mice and rats are not the only ones to benefit from CBD’s analgesic properties. Initial studies in humans suggested that it offers effective pain relief in cancer patients and others, without causing any adverse side effects.

Anti-Seizure Properties

When electrical activity in the brain fluctuates dramatically, such as it does in those with epilepsy, it causes seizures. In recent years, several high profile cases have made the world aware of CBD’s ability to influence seizures. However, due to research limitations on drugs listed under the federal Controlled Substances Act, only very recently have scientists been able to confirm this with hard evidence.

The New England Journal of Medicine published the results of a randomized, double blind, placebo-controlled trial just last year. The study explored the effects of CBD in young adults suffering with Dravet syndrome, which is a rare, fever-induced form of epilepsy. Those participants who received CBD noted a median drop of 38.9 percent in the frequency of their seizures. Severity was also notably improved.

Anti-Anxiety Properties

Although people know CBD mostly for its effectiveness at treating physiological conditions, evidence is mounting that people can use it therapeutically for a range of mental health issues, including anxiety. Despite popular opinion that THC treats anxiety, the opposite is actually true: Too much THC can cause paranoia and worsen symptoms. It turns out that CBD is the cannabinoid that calms strung nerves.

According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, the anxiolytic effects of CBD can alleviate social anxiety disorder. The University of São Paulo conducted a study that found CBD reducing subjective anxiety significantly. The researchers concluded, “These results suggest that CBD reduces anxiety in social anxiety disorder, and this is related to its effects on activity in limbic and paralimbic brain areas.”

Antitumor Properties

Studies shows promise that CBD may be extremely important in treating cancer, and in several different ways. CBD and other cannabinoids have antitumor effects, able to amplify tumor cell death in both leukemia and colon cancer. Additionally, research shows CBD stopping the spread of cancer cells, or preventing metastasis, as well as killing cancer cells outright in laboratory tests.

The U.S. National Library of Medicine published a study that suggests cannabidiol, rather than cannabis Sativa, is able to inhibit cell growth and induce apoptosis in cervical cancer cells. Although cancer studies involving the use of CBD are preclinical, which means not conducted on humans or animals, it is hard to ignore such promising results. However, all experts warn against construing these results as a cure.

Anti-Diabetic Properties

One of the most recent scientific findings regarding CBD is its ability to aid in weight loss, treat obesity, and lower the risk of developing diabetes. Once this information becomes mainstream, CBD will likely become the go-to solution for anyone wanting to lose weight, and it is both safer and more effective than extremely dangerous diet pills, starvation, and similarly harmful dieting tricks.

A study published in the U.S. National Library of Medicine saw researchers exploring the effects of CBD on non-obese female mice with a high risk of developing diabetes. Of the mice that consumed CBD, only 32 percent eventually received a diabetes diagnosis. Of the untreated group, every single one fell victim to diabetes, all 100 percent of them.

Conclusion

Due to the large concentration of CBD in hemp plants, hemp is proving an extremely valuable medicine. This list is by no means exhaustive. More and more, scientists are discovering new therapeutic uses to add to those we already know. Choosing to vape hemp flowers, you get all of these medicinal benefits and many, many more, and you get them immediately, as opposed to hours later.
